Carnegie Community Centre, Evelyne Saller Centre, and Gathering Place Community Centre need to review how well their programs and services are working for the community.
Community feedback is one important part of decisions about programs and services. Other things that affect program and service decisions are budgets, resources and operational considerations.
We want to learn from the community what they need and want from the centres, based on what is happening now.
In the past, centre staff knew what the community needed. However, things have changed a lot because of the toxic drug supply, COVID-19, climate change and a lack of stable housing. We want to connect with people who use or might use the centers about what they think about programs and services in an accessible and safe way.
Updates
We had meetings at each centre in spring 2024 to talk to people about their experience. A survey based on what we talked about in the meetings was available in the summer 2024.
We would like to thank everyone who has been part of the planning process so far by attending a meeting and/orsharing your thoughts in the survey. Read a summary of what we learned (PDF 959 KB).

The information you provide is anonymous and confidential. Only information combined into categories will be included in the report.

El Centro Comunitario Carnegie, el Centro Evelyne Saller, la Fieldhouse, y el Centro Comunitario Gathering Place necesita evaluarcómo están funcionando programas y servicios para la comunidad.
La opinión de la comunidad es importante para decidir que programas y servicios se ofrecen. Otras cosas que influyen estas decisiones son los presupuestos, recursos y consideraciones operativas.
Queremos que la comunidad nos informe sobre los programas y servicios qué necesita y quisiera recibir en el centro comunitario, basándose en lo que se ofrece actualmente.
En la primavera de 2024, organizamos grupos de discusión en el centro para hablar con las personas sobre sus experiencias. Esta encuesta se basa en lo que hablamos en las reuniones. Invitamos a las personas que utilizan o podrían utilizar
los centros a responder esta encuesta. Antes de que termine el año, el personal del centro y la comunidad tendrán a su disposición un informe sobre nuestros aprendizajes.
La información que proporcione es anónima y confidencial. El informe solo incluirá la información combinada en categorías.
