2025 Budget

Each year, City staff create an annual budget for City Council to consider. Provincial law requires the City not to spend more money than it brings in each year.

As the City prepares the 2025 Budget, we want to know what your priorities are for City spending. We also want your ideas for how to balance the budget while maintaining core services and programs.

• Learn more about the City's budget and how it is created (PDF, 0.3 MB)
• Contact Mayor and Council directly to provide feedback on the draft budget.
• Share these opportunities with your networks!

Next steps:

A survey was open from August 19-September 16. Your feedback will be combined into a public report. It will be shared with Council as part of their 2025 Budget discussions later this year.
