Strata partnerships and prohibited buildings registry

We held our third Working Group meeting on April 12 and discussed support for stratas with short-term rentals.

Staff shared updates on the City’s Prohibited Buildings Registry, which restricts the auto-issuance of short-term rental licences for all SRO and Rental 100 buildings across the City and more than 45 strata plans. Any strata whose bylaws do not permit short-term rentals in the building may contact the short-term rentals office via their property management company to have their building added to the list.
