Salmon Return to Still Creek

Exciting news! Salmon have returned once again to Still Creek.

The City of Vancouver is in the process of rehabilitating and enhancing some sections of Still Creek, one of only two remaining visible streams in urban Vancouver.

A key objective of the Rupert and Renfrew Station Area Plan is to enhance and protect the health of the Still Creek Watershed, including daylighting Still Creek and widening the creek corridor to manage flooding in the Employment Lands, and enhance fish and wildlife habitat and community access to nature.

For more information on Still Creek enhancement, visit https://vancouver.ca/home-property-development/still-creek-enhancement.aspx

Important note: Still Creek is an urban watercourse with a sensitive ecosystem, and we discourage people and pets from entering the creek. Please stay above the top of bank when viewing.
