Updates to the Zoning and Development By-law in effect November 14, 2022.

Council approved changes that will make it easier to find and use information contained within the Zoning and Development By-law on July 5, 2022. The updated by-law will be in effect November 14, 2022.

Updates include improved document navigation, enhanced document accessibility features, and clearer rules with diagrams and tables.

Find your zoning district or review zoning and land use documents, including the Zoning and Development By-law, official development plans, policies, guidelines and bulletins by visiting the zoning and land use document library.

We want to ensure that everyone has access to the updated Zoning and Development By-law. If you are unable to view or read the documents, call 3-1-1.

  • From April 22 to May 6, 2022 the Draft Updated Zoning and Development By-law survey was open. Thank you for sharing your input. Your feedback, combined with other feedback, will be made public and included in the engagement summary report to Council in June 2022.
