Extension of Virtual Information Session on Draft Jericho Lands ODP

The information period and Q&A for the Jericho Lands ODP has been extended until March 3rd to allow more time for members of the public to ask questions.

The intent of the ODP is to translate key elements of the Policy Statement into a by-law format. The ODP will provide direction on permitted floor areas and land uses, development phasing, and affordable housing and public amenity obligations.

The ODP is not a City planning requirement for the ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands but is instead being prepared at the request of the MST Partnership to provide more certainty than the Policy Statement. This will support the MST Partnership in securing financing from lenders to allow project implementation to progress. It is expected that City Council will consider the ODP at a public hearing in April 2025.
