2025 Budget

Each year, City staff create an annual budget for City Council to consider. Provincial law requires the City not to spend more money than it brings in each year.

As the City prepares the 2025 Budget, we want to know what your priorities are for City spending. We also want your ideas for how to balance the budget while maintaining core services and programs.

How to get involved:

• Read the Draft 2025 Budget Highlights (PDF, 1.7 MB) or the full Draft 2025 Budget (PDF, 8.5 MB)
• Contact Mayor and Council directly to provide feedback on the draft budget.
• Watch Council discuss the 2025 Budget:
  1. Tuesday, Dec. 3 (meeting begins at 9:30 am)
  2. Tuesday, Dec. 10 (meeting begins at 9:30 am)
• Register to speak at a Council meeting about the Budget: Tuesday, Dec. 3
• Learn more about the City's budget and how it is created (PDF, 0.3 MB)
