Britannia Renewal Youth EngageBritannia Renewal Youth Engagement - 2021
This video is being shared on behalf of the Britannia Youth Leadership Peer Group, who provided the following introduction:
The film you are about to see is the result of the collaborative efforts from the youth leadership peer group and Sky Spirit studios.
This group which consists of Dean Kirton, Tiana Sacco and Deaunte Nelson made efforts to get the opinions from the Indigenous community members for the Britannia Renewal plan. They had done in person and virtual tours of the current Britannia campus and the renewal plan concept as well as meeting over zoom with the community elders and knowledge keepers in order to create what you will see today.
We would also like to thank Britannia for this opportunity for our voices to be heard as well as the elders and knowledge keepers for sharing their experiences and stories in order for this to be possible.
