The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on March 26, 2021, and was refused. It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Van Land Use Consulting has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to complete:

  • Interior alterations and change the use of approximately 1,935 sq. ft. from existing Retail to Liquor Store (Type-2) in this existing commercial building

Under the site’s existing C-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
