The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on October 31, 2022.


Paper Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a two-storey one-family (Infill) dwelling (Building 2) on the South portion of the site, providing one parking space having vehicular access from the lane to the site consisting of:

  • A proposed height of approximately 25 ft./7.60 m for the Infill building
  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.76 for the site (approximately 3,050 sq.ft.)

Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Review of design guidelines applicable to one and two family dwellings in this district has been streamlined as per the Council report of June 8, 2021. This is a temporary measure for one year.
