The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on February 15, 2022.
Engage Architecture Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to retain and alter the existing one-family character dwelling to include the following:
- Raise the existing roof proposing a total height of approximately 35 ft.
- Increase floor area proposing a Floor Space Ratio of 0.7 (approximately 2,460 sq. ft.)
- Renovate basement level to add an attached garage providing one parking space having vehicular access from the street
Under the site’s existing RS-7 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
