The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on April 4, 2024.
DOS Design Group has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to alter and convert this existing one-family dwelling to a CHBA Net-Zero standards designed Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing two dwelling units and, to develop an infill one-family dwelling (Building 2) at the rear of the site, for a total of three dwelling units, consisting of:
A proposed height of approximately 38.25 ft. / 11.7 m for the Multiple Conversion Dwelling building
A proposed height of approximately 29.0 ft. / 8.8 m for the infill building
A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 0.85 for the site (approximately 3,430 sq. ft.)
Two vehicle parking spaces, having access from the lane
Under the site’s existing RT-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
