The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on November 9, 2022.



Architrix Studio has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:  

  • To alter and convert this existing one-family character dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing three dwelling units and, to develop an Infill one-family dwelling (Building 2) at the rear of the site, providing two garage parking spaces and one surface stall having vehicular access from the lane
  • Proposed building heights:
    • Approximately 28.5 ft. for Multiple Conversion Dwelling. 
    • Approximately 25.2 ft. for Infill Dwelling. 
  • Proposed Floor Space Ratio (FSR):
    • 0.65 FSR (approximately 3,960 sq. ft.) for Multiple Conversion Dwelling
    • 0.2 FSR (approximately 1,160 sq. ft.) for Infill 

Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
