4426-4464 Knight St and 1406 E 28th Ave rezoning application

We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 4426-4464 Knight St and 1406 E 28th Ave. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 6-storey residential building. The zoning would change from RS-1 (single detached houses and duplexes) to CD-1 (comprehensive development). The proposal includes:

  • 72 secured market rental units, including 10 live-work units at grade
  • Floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.1
  • Floor area of 5,119.6 sq. m (55,107 sq. ft.)
  • Maximum height of 20.1 m (65.9 ft.)
  • Two levels of underground parking with 29 vehicle parking spaces and 161 bicycle parking spaces

The application is being considered under the Affordable Housing Choices Interim Rezoning Policy (AHCIRP).

In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we will be holding an extended online question and answer (Q&A) period in place of an in-person open house for this project.
