The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on November 25, 2021.


Jima Retail Corporation has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior alterations and to change the use from Fitness Center- Class 2 to Cannabis Store on the main floor level of this existing mixed-use building:

  • A floor area of approximately 2,875 sq. ft.
  • Hours of operation: 9 am - 11 pm, seven days a week
  • Five parking spaces provided in lower parking level

Under the site’s existing CD-1 (590) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
