The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on May 20, 2021, and was refused. 

It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


DeAngelis Architecture The A Studio has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to:

  • Change the use of approximately 3,670 sq. ft. of Retail Store to a Liquor Store -Type 3 in the existing six-storey, mixed-use building
  • Proposed hours of operation: Monday - Sunday, 9 am to 11 pm

Under the site’s existing CD-1(743) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
