An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on January 26, 2021 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on February 16, 2021.

Eden Empire Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for interior alterations and to change the use, at the above-noted address to a Retail Cannabis Store, consisting of:

  • Approximately 1,135.0 square feet
  • Proposed hours of operation: 9 am - 11 pm, seven days a week

Under the site’s existing HA-2, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
