The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on November 2, 2022.


Robert Blaney Design Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for interior/exterior alterations to this existing character merit one-family dwelling to:

  • Add floor space to basement
  • Infill second storey porch to floor space
  • Add third floor and third floor deck (within existing roof structure)
  • Add new covered rear deck
  • Add detached two-car garage at the rear

Under the site’s existing RT-8 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
