2155 E 43rd Ave (DP-2021-00978) development application
The Director of Planning approved the application on March 30, 2022, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Gradual Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- To alter and convert this existing one-family dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling containing two dwelling units (Building 1) including:
- A total height of approximately 28 ft.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.6 (approximately 2,420 sq. ft.)
- To develop an infill one-family dwelling (Building 2) in the rear portion of this site including:
- A total height of approximately 25 ft.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.25 (approximately 980 sq. ft.)
- Three parking spaces provided having vehicular access from the lane
Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
