This appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on July 13, 2021 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on October 19, 2021.


DeAngelis Architecture The A Studio has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform a change of use of approximately 4,493 square feet from a Retail Store to a Type - 3 Liquor Store in the existing seven-storey mixed-use building, consisting of:

  • Proposed hours of operation: 9 am - 11 pm, Monday - Sunday

Under the site’s existing CD-1(723) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
