The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 6, 2024.

dys architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on 1656 Adanac Street:

  • A seven-storey, multiple dwelling building, containing 97 social housing units
  • An approximate height of 19.9 m (65 ft.)
  • A floor space ratio of 2.59 (7.578 m² / 81,566 sq. ft.)
  • A total of 26 vehicle parking spaces and192 bicycle spaces, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RM-4 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we held an extended online question and answer (Q&A) period in place of an in-person open house for this project.
