1649 E Broadway (DP-2020-00766) development application

IBI Group Architects has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to amend the approved development permit application (DP-2018-00984), which will allow for two additional storeys to accommodate a 12-storey rental building with commercial retail space at grade, which consists of:
- 114 residential units including 91 market rental units and 23 below-market rental units
- A floor area of 7,301.6 m² (78,594 sq. ft.)
- A building height of 36.45 m (119.55 ft.)
- A floor space ratio of 5.0
- 70 underground parking spaces and 197 bicycle spaces
Under the site’s approved CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
