We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 1608-1616 W Georgia St and 1667 Alberni St. The proposal is to allow for the development of two 38-storey strata residential towers over a four storey podium. The zoning would change from RM-6 (Residential) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:

  • 455 strata residential units
    • 200 located in each of the towers
    • 55 located in the podium
  • Building heights of 117.3 m (385 ft.)
  • A floor space ratio (FSR) of 9.60
  • A floor area of 40,288 sq. m (433,657 sq. ft.)
  • Six levels of underground parking with 503 vehicle parking spaces and 911 bicycle parking spaces

The application is being considered under the West End Community Plan, and Rezoning Policy for the West End.

An in-person community open house was held on May 23, 2019 at the Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel (1180 W Hastings St).
