An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on February 13, 2024 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on February 28, 2024.
The Village Collaborative Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform a change the use from Retail Store to Cannabis Store, in this existing Commercial building consisting of:
- A floor area of approximately 748 sq. ft.
- Hours of operation: 10 am - 10 pm, seven (7) days a week
- This is a relocation of an original approval at 1540 West 2nd Avenue
Under the site’s existing C-2B zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
