The Director of Planning approved the application on January 2, 2024, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Metcap Living has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- Six-storey residential infill building with 60 secured market rental units
- Building upgrades in the common areas of the existing building, with no impact to tenancies
- Proposed building height 62 ft. (18.9 m)
- Above three-levels of existing underground parking
- Accommodating the bicycle and vehicle parking for the new and existing tower
Under the site’s existing RM-5A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
