1450 W Georgia St rezoning application

We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 1450 W Georgia St. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 49-storey strata and market rental residential building. The zoning would change from DD (Downtown) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:

  • 193 strata units on floors 21 to 48
  • 162 market rental units on floors 4 to 20
  • Commercial retail space on the ground floors
  • A floor space ratio (FSR) of 14.14
  • A gross floor area of 26,605 sq. m (286,379 sq. ft.)
  • A building height of 151.6 m (497.3 ft.)
  • 300 vehicle parking spaces and 707 bicycle parking spaces

The application is being considered under the West End Community Plan, Rezoning Policy for the West End, and General Policy for Higher Buildings.

An in-person community open house was held on April 30, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm at the Westin Bayshore Hotel (1601 Bayshore Drive).
