The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on April 11, 2022, and was refused.  

It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Van Land Use Consulting has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To expand the existing retail Liquor Store – Type 2 into the adjacent retail space by approximately 870 sq. ft. in the existing two-storey mixed-use building

Under the site’s existing C-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
