1399 Matthews Ave (DP-2021-00840) development application

The Director of Planning approved the application on April 11, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Wiedemann Architectural Design has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To develop a two-and-one-half-storey one-family dwelling with a detached four car garage having vehicular access from Matthews Avenue
  • A Floor Space Ratio of 5,934 sq. ft. (551.3 m²)
  • Peak height of 44.92 ft. (13.7 m)

Under the site’s existing FSD zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
