An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on September 26, 2023 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on November 2, 2023.
The Property Owner of 1326 E 64th Avenue has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to provide exterior and interior alterations, and change of use from single detached house to single detached house with secondary suite.
Scope of work includes addition at the rear on the main and lower level, and expansion of the existing two-car garage to provide a workshop space.
Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
