126 W Hastings St (DP-2024-00292) cannabis retail development application

An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on October 22, 2024, and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on October 31, 2024.

.The City of Vancouver has received a request for permission to develop the following on this site:

• A change of use from Retail Store to Cannabis Store
• A floor area of approximately of 2,743.52 sq. ft.
• Proposed hours of operation:
  • 9:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week

Under the site’s existing DD zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
