The Director of Planning approved the application on July 24, 2023, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Ciccozzi Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior/exterior alterations and a change of use from a six-story, medical office building to a restaurant (main floor) and hotel use (main floor – 6th floor), having vehicular access from the lane.

Under the site’s existing DD (Downtown) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
