We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 1066-1078 Harwood St. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 32-storey residential building. The zoning would change from RM-5A (Residential) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:

  • 143 market residential units
  • A floor space ratio (FSR) of 10.11
  • A building height of 91.4 m (300 ft.)
  • Six levels of underground parking with 236 vehicle parking stalls and 180 bicycle parking spaces

The application is being considered under the West End Community Plan.

The proposed building is the tower on the right as shown above. Replacement of the site’s existing rental units will be provided on the adjacent site at 1065 Harwood and 1332 Thurlow Street, in the tower shown to the left.

An in-person community open house was held on October 16, 2017 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Columbia Room (1110 Howe St).
