The Vancouver Park Board is currently in the planning stage for the renewal of Collingwood Park. Many of the features in the park are nearing the end of their lifespan and will need to be replaced or improved as part of the renewal. Potential features to be upgraded or replaced include the playground, sports court, wading pool, washrooms, paths, seating, and plantings.
What's happening?
Thank you for all of the feedback we have received during the first round of engagement. We are now compiling what we have heard and will post a engagement summary in July 2022. This feedback will be used to develop preliminary design concepts that will be presented to the community in the fall for review.
The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation acknowledges, with respect, that our parks are located on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.

The Vancouver Park Board is planning the renewal of Collingwood Park. This project will include making improvements to old features in the park as well as adding new ones. Features that will be replaced or renovated include the washrooms, wading pool, playground and multi-use court. We are asking residents and park users to let us know their priorities for the renewal to help shape the design.
In this first round of engagement, we are looking to understand your vision for the renewed park. This survey asks questions about how you use the park and what you would like to see in the future. Based on what we hear this spring, we will develop design concepts to present to the community for review and feedback in the fall.
Please take a moment to review the engagement boards for further information on the park prior to taking the survey. Download engagement boards (26 MB).
The survey will close June 9, 2022.
The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Before starting, please ensure that you are using an updated version of your browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari). If you encounter any problems and are able to take a screenshot or video of the issue, please email collingwood.renewal@vancouver.ca. If you would prefer an email, PDF, or paper version of the survey, please email collingwood.renewal@vancouver.ca to request one.
