The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on January 19, 2022, and was refused.  

It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


David Eaton Architect Inc. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior alterations, consolidate units #4 and #5 and change of use from Retail Store to Retail Type-2 Liquor Store on this site, including:

  • A floor area of approximately 2,295 sq. ft.
  • Operating hours of:
    • 9 am to 11 pm, seven days a week

Under the site’s existing CD-1(488) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
