The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on June 1, 2021.


The Farmers Market Society has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to use a portion of the site, at the above-noted address for a Farmers Market, consisting of:

  • Proposed hours of operation: Thursdays, 2 pm – 6 pm, June 3 to October 7, 2021
  • Maximum of 55 stalls
  • Live music, food trucks, and pop-up tents proposed

Under the site’s existing BCPED zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
