An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on December 15, 2020 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on February 16, 2021.
Lightbox Enterprises Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to change the use, at the above noted address, to a Retail Cannabis Store consisting of:
- Interior alterations and change of use from Retail Store to a Cannabis Retail Store
- Proposed hours of operation: 9 am – 11 pm, seven days a week
- Approximately 2,361.00 sq. ft.
Under the site’s existing C-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
