We would like your feedback on a revised rezoning application at 8460 Ash St and 8495 Cambie St (Ashley Mar Co-op Site). The proposal is to allow for the development of a mixed-use development with three towers at 16, 27 and 31 storeys. The zoning would change from RT-2 (Residential) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. Following the original application submission in July 2019, the proposal has been revised to include additional height and density to accommodate additional market rental housing units, and for increased setbacks along Ash Street to allow for improved tree retention. The proposal includes:
1-for-1 replacement of the existing 54 Ashley Mar Housing Co-operative units
71 additional non-market housing units
524 secured market rental units
1 commercial-retail unit
A floor space ratio (FSR) of 8.21
A floor area of 48,458 sq m.(521,611 sq. ft.)
A building height of 92.8 m (304 ft.)
195 vehicle parking spaces and 1,297 bicycle parking spaces
This is a revised application from a previous application submitted on July 8, 2019. The original proposal consisted of a mixed-use development with three towers at 15, 24, 27 storeys and included:
