720 Beatty St (DP-2021-00168) development application
The Development Permit Board approved the application on June 28, 2021, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Westbank has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- Two commercial buildings, including:
- A 17-storey office building with retail on the ground floor
- A 5-storey entertainment pavilion
- A new low carbon district energy plant and upgrade to the existing Creative Energy plant
- Four levels of parking with bicycle facilities below grade
Under the site’s existing CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board.
