719 E Broadway (DP-2020-00854) cannabis retail development application

The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on March 4, 2021, and was refused.  It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Pineapple Exchange Cannabis Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission:

  • To perform interior alterations and a change of use from Retail to Retail – Cannabis Store
  • Proposed hours of operation: 9 am – 11 pm, seven (7) days a week
  • Approximately 546.00 sq. ft.

Under the site’s existing C-2C zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
