The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on January 7, 2022.
Design Work Group Ltd has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- To alter and convert this existing one-family character dwelling to a three-unit Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) with:
- A total height of approximately 29.5 ft.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.62 (approximately 5,400 sq. ft.)
- To develop a one-and-half-storey one-family (Infill) dwelling (Building 2) on the rear portion of the site with:
- A total height of approximately 25 ft.
- A total Floor Space Ratio of 0.23 (approximately 2,000 sq. ft.)
- Three parking spaces provided on site, two stalls having vehicular access from the lane and one existing parking stall having vehicular access from Cypress Street
Under the site’s existing RS-6 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
