5659 Dunbar St (DP-2021-00665) development application
The Director of Planning approved the application on December 4, 2021, subject to conditions. A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"
Gryphon Development has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on the site, a five-storey mixed-use building containing retail uses on the first and second floor and multiple dwellings on third to fifth floor, containing 25 dwelling units, with:
- A proposed height of 13.8 m (45.3 ft.)
- A proposed floor area of 3,731.8 m² (40,169.0 sq. ft.)
- Two levels of underground parking providing 48 parking stalls having vehicular access from the lane
Under the site’s existing C-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
