The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on September 29, 2021.
Strand Development has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop on this site a six-storey, mixed-use building consisting of restaurant and retail uses on the ground floor and multiple dwelling on 2nd floor to 6th floor, containing 89 dwelling units, with:
- A proposed total Floor Space Ratio of approximately 3.7 (74,635 square feet)
- A proposed height of approximately 72.5 feet
- Two levels of underground parking providing 77 parking spaces, having vehicular access from the lane
Subject to council enactment of the proposed rezoning from C-2 zoning to CD-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
