The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on June 11, 2024.

Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation has applied to the City of Vancouver to develop field lighting on this site, consisting of:

  • Four light poles
  • An approximate height of 15 meters
  • Each LED light has a fixture of 6700 Lumens
  • A timer during prescribed hours

Under the site’s existing CD-1(449) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
