This application was approved by Council at Public Hearing on March 9th, 2021.
We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 4118-4138 Cambie St. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 6-storey residential building. The zoning would change from RS-1 (Residential) to a CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal includes:
90 secured market rental units
Building height of 22.0 m (72 ft.)
Floor area of 6,079 sq. m (65,434 sq. ft.)
Floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.94
72 vehicle parking spaces and 171 bicycle parking spaces
The site is currently approved for a 6-storey building with 66 strata units, 74 vehicle parking spaces and 87 bicycle spaces. The original rezoning application and council reportwas approved by Council at Public Hearing on March 12, 2019. A new application is being made to change the tenure from strata to market rental units. There is no change in the density, height, or form of development from the prior approved application. This new application will be subject to all current policies, guidelines, bulletins, and development permit requirements.
An in-person community open house for the original application was held on May 14, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Phoenix Gymnastics, 4588 Clancy Loranger Way.
