The Development Permit Board approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 2, 2024.
Urban Arts Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site with a 14-storey, mixed-use building. The proposal includes the following:
- 172 units of Social Housing
- Social Service Centre and Retail
- An approximate Floor Space Ratio of 7.0
- An approximate floor area of 9,135 m2 (98,177 sq. ft)
- An approximate height of 43.3 m (142 ft.)
Under the site’s existing Downtown-Eastside/Oppenheimer District (DEOD) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Development Permit Board
