The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on April 4, 2023.


LQ Design Group Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • A two storey plus basement one family dwelling
  • A secondary suite located in the basement
  • A parking pad at the rear providing two parking spaces, having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RS-5 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Review of design guidelines applicable to one and two family dwellings in this district has been streamlined as per the Council report of June 8, 2021. This is a temporary measure for one year.
