This appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on June 15, 2021 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning. A Development Permit was issued on August 23, 2021.
Jima Retail Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:
- To perform interior alterations and a change of use from Office - Financial Institution to Cannabis Retail Store
- Proposed hours of operation: 9 am – 11 pm, seven days a week
- Approximately 2,877.00 sq. ft.
Under the site’s existing C-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
