The Director of Planning approved the application on May 2, 2022, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


DOS Design Group has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To change the use of the existing two-family dwelling to a one-family dwelling with a Child Care Facility for 25 children on the upper floor and related interior/exterior alterations
  • A Floor Space Ratio of 0.54 (2,949 sq. ft.)
  • Hours of operation:
    • 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday

Under the site’s existing RT-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
