The Director of Planning approved the application on September 16, 2020, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit will be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information please contact the Project Facilitator directly at jaimelynn.borsa@vancouver.ca


Human Studio has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site, consisting of:

  • A five-storey, mixed-use building
  • 95 secured live work artist studios, market rental units
  • Commercial at grade
  • A building height of 18.3 m
  • A Floor Space Ratio (FSR) of 3.25
  • Two levels of underground parking

Under the site’s existing IC-3 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
