3158 E 54th Ave (DP-2022-00020) cannabis retail development application

The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this application was considered on April 20, 2022, and was refused.  It should be noted, however, that the applicant has the right to appeal this decision of refusal to the Board of Variance in accordance with the provisions of the Vancouver Charter.


Burb Cannabis Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to perform interior alterations, consolidate units 3158 and 3168 and change of use from School of Self Improvement to Retail Cannabis Store in this existing mixed-use building on this site, including:

  • A floor area of approximately 968 sq. ft.
  • Operating hours of:
    • Monday – Saturday: 9am – 11pm
    • Sunday: 10am – 8pm

Under the site’s existing CD-1(68) zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
